EXHIBITIONS:
Christian Macketanz: Mr. Tutsch at the Customs Office / Christian Macketanz, a German realistic figurative painter, has dozens of independent and many group exhibitions behind him. Presently he is in charge of the painting studio at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden. The exhibition is the most comprehensive presentation of his oeuvre in the Czech Republic so far.
Evžen Šimera: A Legacy of Future Principles / Evžen Šimera, a painter and conceptualist, in 2008 nominated for the prestigious Jindřich Chalupecký Award, is manly known for his “geometrical” paintings and objects, that he creates using the newdripping technique
Richard Roháč: Phantoms / Richard Roháč, “the Toulouse-Lautrec of Košice” is a born expressionist of almost German stature. In his latest works vivid colours stay in the background and the paintings become much more of black-and-white records with a drawing-like expression
