Information for wheel-chair users and other visitors with impaired movement for the Brno Museum Night 2014

Note on parking in the centre of Brno – in car parks with meters ZTP and ZTP/P card holders with the O1 marking may park free of charge for up to 120 minutes – it is only required to display behind the windscreen the parking clock indicating the time of arrival.
 

Moravian Gallery in Brno

- Access: barrier-free from the side of the building next to the reserved parking spaces, doorbell and video telephone

Governor’s Palace

- Parking: only one parking space available situated by the building
- Access: barrier-free through the main door, unmarked doorbell at the entrance
- Building: access to exhibitions on the ground floor only
- WC barrier-free: opposite the porter’s lodge, key with the building’s guard

Brno City Museum

- Parking: access road from Úvoz St via Gorazdova St. After agreement by telephone there is a possible exception from the prohibited entry by car (at the Orthodox Church) by continuing via Gorazdova St through the park to the car park below the north-east bastion. After 6pm entry by car free without restrictions. Assistance can be requested at the castle box-office.

- Building: lift to all floors
- WC barrier-free: on the ground floor of the south wing with access from the canon bastion and on the 1st floor of the central wing

Měnín Gate (tel.: 542 214 946, from THU–MON)

The historical Měnín Gate is not barrier-free, there are steps at the entrance and throughout the building. The lift stops only at half-landings. Access is therefore possible for persons with reduced mobility but not wheelchair users.
