TECHNOLOGICAL PLAYROOM:
Physical experiments presented by students of the Physical Electronics Institute of the Faculty of Natural Science MU under the supervision of their teachers.

ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME:
Programme throughout the night in the museum courtyard, presented by Dr. Zdeněk Korčián, is an invitation to the forthcoming exhibition The Great War 1914–1918: technology in peace, technology at war

The permanent exhibitions will be animated by characters in period costumes and uniforms, the Salon of Mechanical Music will welcome visitors with the Májek folk music and dance ensemble, while Daniel Kikta will play at the U Pavlíků pub.
In the hairdressing salon visitors will be given a perm by stylists from the Edward Scissorhands Studio. Examples of crafts will be presented by students of the Secondary Technical School and the Technical College, the Integrated Secondary School of Polygraphy and the Experimental Metal-casting Workshop

18.00 Biomassa band from Brno
19.00, 20.30, 22.00 and 23.30 “From Paradise to Hell” / short theatrical performance through which the historian Dr. Korčián and the Elegant Ladies Society will take visitors to the ambiance of the fin-de-siècle, the period preceding WWI. The performance will be accompanied and a pleasant evening mood will be ensured by the music of František Procházka’s Jazz Band 1914

In front of the museum building the Military-History Society of the k.k. Monarchy will present examples of back-up facilities of the Austro-Hungarian Army – the field bakery DivBäckerei Nr. 4 Brünn guarded by Gendarmeriekommando Nr. 4 Brünn

In the area of the car park below the museum building a model railway with live steam railway models of the Society of Moravian Park Railways can be seen together with giant models of ships, submarines and aircraft called the Battle of Midway

Segway–Brno will give you an opportunity to test ride the most happening vehicle today

Showrides of historical buses from the museum’s collections will be included in the shuttle bus schedule of the Brno Public Transport Authority.
Ample refreshments for visitors provided in the courtyard on the premises.
